A note on elevation: The most accurate elevation figures are in the Ride Data. Elevation shown in the graphs below is generally higher than the reality, as GPS data can be distorted when riding through valleys, tunnels and across bridges. Our Ride Data is based on physically scouting the route and correcting any anomalies we identify during the route-design process.
The Route Explorer provides an accurate overview of daily distances and the overall flow of the tour, but should be used in conjunction with the Ride Data document when assessing the associated elevation for each day.
